My family had a crisis today. We went to the ER for help. The staff there was WONDERFUL and took excellent care of us. I didn't catch any names but one. McKenzie is one amazing girl. She made sure we were protected, fed, and she stayed with us from the time we arrived until the time we left. I really hope you see this. And every single person that helped us from the receptionist to the police woman to the nurses and the social worker, even the security guard at the entrance. You're all amazing and we appreciate you so much. You all restored my faith in humanity. You made a difference. Thank you.

I just wanted to say thank you to the nurses and doctors in the ER on April 22, 2025. We had to take my daughter in because we thought she was having a stroke. There was nothing but sincere kindness and compassion towards my daughter and our family. The nurses (I can’t remember their names, which is why I’m telling the date) were all very nice and supportive, and the doctors were also very quick and informative. We were there an hour before shift change so we had the day shift nurses and the night shift nurses. Again, thank you for caring and treating us so nice, it didn’t go unnoticed.

Amber & Erin both on the 11th floor are so helpful, kind, & considerate. They made sure we felt comfortable, well informed, understood, and cared for. They are the best nurses we have ever had and we hope many patients get to experience someone like them as their nurse when they come to Memorial for help. You rock girls! Keep up the great work. We so wish more people were like you!

Recently had a heart procedure. I stayed 3 days on 2nd floor (short stay) cardiac center. The people here make this place great!! I can’t say enough about the caring, professional staff here. Thank you!

Since moving to the area, I have been here three different stays. Good, friendly care. Sometimes I wish the departments would talk & notify each other especially changes & updates to the kitchen.

My experience wasn’t so great at the NICU but this nurse Dawn was like a breath of fresh air compared to the other nurses she grabbed us drinks when she didn’t have to, made sure we had everything I could tell she cared about these babies in the NICU and she cared about the parents as well I seriously don’t think I could’ve gotten through it without her. The other nurses need to be like her I had one nurse that was questioning whether I had everything for my baby, meddling too much in our business and I think it was because we were young. The nitpick nurse kept giving us advice like she knew more like I’ve never taken care of a baby before and things she’d say were just uncalled for demanding my boyfriend to go grab me a pillow like I can’t go do that myself. Dawn seriously deserves a raise this she is what I would want and expect at a hospital those nurses need to do better and learn from Dawn.

Doctors, nurses & staff in the ICU, 8th & 9th floors were phenomenal! They encouraged my husband through every step of his recovery and made us feel like family. They explained medications prescribed & what they were for very well. Everyone was always on the same page about treatment/diagnosis. You can tell these people love what they do and truly want to see their patients get better! We are beyond grateful for the excellent care and attention at this hospital. ❤️

My daughter had been to the hospital every week this month. Whether it’s an over night stay on the pediatric floor or visiting the pediatric hematology clinic. Every single nurse and doctor we’ve encountered has been nothing but kind and accommodating to my 3 year old. They’ve given her toys and snacks and everything in between to make sure her time spent here ended on a positive note. I cannot thank them enough for all the kindness they’ve given my daughter during such a difficult month.

I just had my baby on 10/30. I had an amazing experience with both the labor/ delivery and postpartum departments! This was my 2nd child but first that I birthed at Memorial hospital. The nurse’s that I had were caring and made my experience that much better. I did have an induction as I was 9 days past my due date. The doctors that started the process were very informative about every step of what they were doing, why, and what the possible risks could be. As someone who has major anxiety associated with hospitals, every staff member that I came in contact with made me way less anxious! I absolutely adore the 2nd year resident that I’m pretty sure delivered my baby. She was so sweet, very knowledgeable and was just very calming to be around! Also one last thought. The nurses that did my IV ports did an amazing job, I have always have bruising after I get blood drawn or an IV line put in. But this time I have had none! Color me very impressed with the nurses I had at Memorial Hospital!

My stay at Memorial was lengthy. What started in the ER and continued through ICU and then to the 10th floor. The surgeons and staff on the ICU were great. I wasn't awake and aware for most of the time I was in there but my family said wonderful things. Once on 10S I met Dr Patel. This doctor went above and beyond. He put in effort that I've never seen another doctor exhibit. And last but not least the hands on staff that tend to the parts of caring for a patient that aren't so glamorous. Thank you to all of those people who made awkward as comfortable as possible. The wait time for the ER is the worst part of the journey. But the care made the wait worth it.
